Homerun
Entertainment is a full service
television production company
specializing in reality, non-fiction and
documentary programming for broadcast,
cable and broadband networks and
outlets. Our slate of programming
includes series and specials for the WE
Women's Entertainment, Food Network,
Fine Living, TV One and DIY Network, in
addition to webisodes for HGTV.com,
DIYNetwork.com, HGTVPro.com and Move.com.
We also produce numerous sponsored
content and commercial projects for
other networks or distribution channels.
Homerun also produces the annual
fundraiser for Heal the Bay, a Los
Angeles based environmental non-profit
that is dedicated to improving water
quality in the oceans.
EXECUTIVES
Barry Gribbon,
Executive Producer/CEO/Founder:
Barry Gribbon founded Homerun
Entertainment in 2001 and serves as
Executive Producer and CEO
overseeing all development and
productions. Highly respected in
the business as both an Executive
Producer and an Executive in Charge
of Production, Gribbon combines a
keen sense of style and an eye for
what the network wants and how to
get it there on budget.
Having been one of the early
adapters of new technologies,
Gribbon understands the nuances of
producing this type of viewing
experience for the consumer. Prior
to forming Homerun, Gribbon served
as Vice President of Scripps
Productions in Los Angeles. As one
of the pioneers of the Los
Angeles-based operation, Gribbon
supervised production, operations
and budgets for more than 320 hours
of television series and specials.
He was integral in the programming
launch of DIY and Fine Living, along
with Food Network following Scripps
Networks’ acquisition of that
property. Before joining the
executive ranks at Scripps
Productions, Gribbon worked on more
than 50 network specials and 14
television series.
Jennifer
Gribbon, Executive Vice President/General Manager/Founder:
As
Executive Vice President and General Manager
of Homerun Entertainment, Jennifer Gribbon
oversees all of the company’s
operations. In that capacity she
manages all business and legal
affairs, finance, human resources,
travel, accounting and all
other aspects of the company's
dealings. Gribbon began her career as a
production coordinator / manager for
television movies, award shows,
commercials and music videos.
Following years coordinating details
on the set, Gribbon expanded her
expertise into entertainment
marketing and event production. She
has managed projects for clients
including AT&T, Coca-Cola, Grammy
Foundation, Democratic National
Convention, Sundance Film Festival,
the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games to
name a few.
Gribbon co-founded Homerun
Entertainment in 2001.
Greg Spring, Vice President of
Development:
As
Vice President of Development, Greg
Spring oversees all of the company’s
development activities in the
broadcast, cable and
broadband/interactive sectors.
A print journalist by training,
Spring began his television career
at King World Productions, where he
served as Director of Programming
and Development working on such
shows as “The Martin Short Show,”
“The Roseanne Show,” “The Howard
Stern Radio Show” and “18 Wheels of
Justice,” among others. Upon
leaving King World, Spring created
Paramount Domestic Television’s
syndicated daytime strip “Life
Moments,” serving as producer on 175
hour-long episodes. He went on to
become Vice President of Development
at Pie Town Productions, working on
projects for such networks as VH1,
A&E, Lifetime, WE, MTV, Food
Network, HGTV and Weather Channel.
