HPA Awards 2021
The HPA Awards recognize the best in post production for films, TV and commercials. It honors editing, sound, visual effects and color correction. Homerun has produced this show for 10 years, but coming out of covid it was time to re-create the entire project. The venue moved to the American Legion of Hollywood Theater. This is a gorgeous, 1920’s venue that is built around the large screen for premieres. We needed to re-image the audience flow, Covid restrictions, audience involvement and tempo of the event.
It was a magical night. 11 awards were handed out the 2 honorees were celebrated. The entire evening made for a memorable event and the show has a new home that is Covid friendly. It gave a Classic Hollywood feel to a modern show and it really embraced all the post production industry feels and sees as important.
