RUN FOR EDUCATION 2022 - 5/10K RUN
EL SEGUNDO PTA COUNCIL
2022 showed us the return to a live event. The 5/10K happened on April 30, 2022. Over 1500 runners showed up and took on the course. The city, the schools, and the community were fired up for a live run after 2 years of virtual events.
Homerun was instrumental in getting corporate sponsorship and involvement in the event. While on the run committee, Homerun secured substantial local funding and serviced the sponsors through a social media marketing campaign, with marketing materials that Homerun distributed through the schools and the city.
At the event, the Homerun team worked with the committee to make it a wonderful occasion. All the participants, sponsors, school groups, and more call this year a success!
